Region: Saint-Pourcain, FRA
Variety: Gamay & Pinot Noir
La Ficelle means ‘the string’. Story goes that the barkeep would use a knotted string to dip into a patrons flagon to see how much wine they had enjoyed before the bill. This wine is a blend of Gamay and Pinot Noir and a classic ‘Vin de Soif’, to be enjoyed with friends over dinner. - Notes from the importer, Franc About Wines
This has always been one of our favourites in the shop. Bright, juicy, crunchy gamay, pinot noir blend, made for everyday drinking. Doesn't mind a little chill. Notes from Toorak Cellars
