Syrah grown in Dixon’s Creek, Yarra Valley by the Phelan Family. Nestled in the foothills of the great dividing range, at 200m elevation on a gentle south facing slope. Fruit was handpicked, then transferred as whole bunches into stainless steel for carbonic maceration. No pump overs. No punch downs. Delicately handled from start to finish. Elevage in old oak for 3 months. Really pretty and aromatic, mineral driven red, best served with a chill, but not too cold.
