2020 Little Reddie 'NEW!' Nebbiolo, Refosco, Heathcote (Vic)
A blend of two grapes (Nebbiolo and Refosco) from two different vineyard sites (Willoughby Bridge/Chalmers) that sit opposite each other on Heathcote-Rochester Rd just North of Colbinabbin in Heathcote. The best release of this wine to date, it celebrates freshness, vivacity and the energy tornado that is Pat Underwood!
2019 Dirty Black Denim 'Sedienta Tinto' Carmenere, Heathcote (Vic)
The new release of wines from Tim and Lawrence Scanlon is a bag full of home runs, hole in ones, knockouts and slam dunks. So much slurpable energy s to be found in each bottle and none more so that in this Carmenere Rose. The fruit comes from Northern Heathcote before spending a couple of days on skins to get it's light blush. Then it's off to old barriques for ferment and aging for 6 months before being put to it's glass grave with a touch of co2. Long live the Scanlons!
NV FIN 'Slurpy Boi' Light Red, Cabernet, Sauvignon Blanc, Yarra Valley (Vic)
Yarra Valley grown Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc, wild fermented and raised in stainless steel. Aromatic red fruits, bright and juicy. A no-brainer when the sky is blue!
