Founders of Lethbridge Maree Collis and Ray Nadeson both initially trained as research scientists and hold PhDs in chemistry and medicine, respectively. Mid-career they pivoted together with friend Adrian Thomas to establish Lethbridge Wines in 1996.

Australia makes impressive Riesling, but it also produces a swath of quite ordinary ones, too. This is one of the most interesting and precisely made we’ve tasted outside the usual rotation. Incredibly poised, lifted by a panoply of citrus and grounded by a slightly waxy texture.
