From Mitch: “At the edge of the Ellis family’s vineyard are about twenty very short rows of Semillon in front of the beige shed, just 13km from the beach.  Invariably the last pick of harvest and always marked with botrytis. Directly pressed into ceramic eggs and neutral oak, and intimately bound to all its lees for a whole year. Texture and electricity. Semillon belongs near the ocean.”
