Lauren Langfield was just named Winemaker of the Year at the Young Gun of Wine Awards and she is entirely deserving of that accolade. She has been quietly making very good wines with a truly sustainable concern in line with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. 

This is shiraz hand-harvested from multiple blocks across the vineyard, ranging in ripeness, vine age and clones. It’s destemmed then fermented in stainless steel before pressing into French oak for eight months. Seek out her wines, they are wonderful.
