Kevin McCarthy travelled extensively across northern Italy in the late nineties to study their farming and winemaking practices. He, alongside wife and co-founder Kathleen Quealy, have introduced the Australian public to Italian grapes through an Australian lens. 

This is a savoury, dark-fruited and powerful sangiovese that sees good oak and wears it well. Definitely one for pizza, pasta or protein.
