Place: Leanganook — Harcourt North, VIC
Variety: Pinot Gris
A new label from the widely loved Pat Underwood. The artwork appears courtesy of Victoria Police and their mobile speed camera on Kennedy St, Castlemaine. The idea behind the label being to release odds and ends with minimal waste.
From a granite block in Leanganook, juice is drawn from a skinsy pinot gris then fermented in stainless steel followed by a few months in barrique. As Pat says: “A good drink when you’ve just finished mowing the lawns, with a bowl of chips at the pub or with some nice fish with butter and capers.”
