The entry-level range to the much-loved and sought after By Farr coterie. Here we see gamay regrafted over own-rooted cabernet vines which were planted in 1999 to black clay soils.

The grapes are hand-picked, fermented as whole bunches in a sealed tank to encourage carbonic maceration. It is then foot-stomped and transferred to five-year-old barrels to finish fermentation and enjoy an eight month slumber. It is joyously bright with a bass tone of earthy, gamey character adding depth and intrigue.
