In 1971, a group of winemakers, after obtaining the DOC for wine from Donnas, formed a cooperative with the specific aim of protecting and guaranteeing the quality and authenticity of the wine. 

Today they produce unique and curious expressions of Nebbiolo from very high altitude vineyards, with these vineyards sitting between 800–1200masl—the highest in Europe! Alpine herbs and mountain freshness in a frame of light colour and structure.
