After more than a decade working in fine wine retail and the world’s best restaurants, Louis Schofield created Worlds Apart Wines in 2017 with a simple goal: to make wine thoughtfully that was also delicious.
Sourcing sustainably grown grapes from significant sites in Eden Valley, McLaren Vale and their own backyard in the Adelaide Hills, Schofield and his fiancé Hannah Jeffery are delivering on a promise to make beautiful wine that is eminently drinkable and downright delicious Schofield draws on his training under winemaker Taras Ochota, and makes wines inspired by cult Australian and European producers, great Burgundies and peers and friends in the Adelaide Hills and surrounds.
