Vignerons Schmölzer & Brown is the wine and life partnership of winemaker Tessa Brown, winemaker and architect-come-viticulturist Jeremy Schmölzer. They planted their vineyard, Thorley, in the highest altitude part of Beechworth in 2014.

This pinot noir is part of their high-altitude Beechworth range, comprised of three sites. In classic VSB style, it straddles the lively-depthful fence admirably. Whole berry ferment and gentle maceration lift it aromatically while 15% new oak imbues spice. Time in glass sees it bloom.
