The Bress vineyard holds a special place in our hearts. Over 12 years we spent every vintage there when Adam Marks ran this acclaimed vineyard and winery. Adam has since sold the vineyard and winery, but a select few exciting young Victorian producers continue the legacy by purchasing fruit from here and producing brilliant wines that Adam would be proud of. 

Jake Winther is one such producer. The Cabernet Franc he has produced here jumps from the glass, energetic and awash with acid-filled character. Jake is an avid fly fisherman, and that has reminded us that this would be excellent with trout rillettes spread onto crusty sourdough.
