Beechworth has developed a reputation for nebbiolo, the fickle grape from Italy’s northwestern pocket of Piedmont and surrounds. Jeremy and Tessa already had a soft spot for the grape and over the last few years increasingly understood how to sculpt it. 28 days on skins then 18 months in oak has nurtured an approachable yet ageable nebbiolo of great substance.
