Robert Weil is a historic Rheingau winery known for producing high-quality rieslings in a classic style. Currently at the helm is Wilhelm Weil who is renowned for his meticulousness, with sorting often coming down to the berry and up to 15(!) passes in the vineyard to pick.
A blend of fruit from high altitude sites dotted around the village, it’s vinified predominantly in stainless steel, with 5% fermented in large oak. The result is a seamless, citrus- and stone fruit-driven, mineral riesling of great stature and length.
