Richard has a small 3ha estate in Beaujolais and though focuses primarily on making Moulin-a-Vent is making some great expressions of crus across the board. He hand-harvests and sorts meticulously so that only the best fruit finds its way into the cellar.
Case in point is this Brouilly which is fruit-forward, energetic and crunchy. Although silken, it has enough structure to sit alongside hearty fare, particularly spice-driven southeast Asian dishes.
