Place: Moorabool Valley, Geelong - VIC
Variety: Pinot Noir
From a close planted 22 year old vineyard in Geelong’s Moorabool Valley, this is an incredibly impressive Victorian Pinot Noir that carries the haunting traits of a winemaker who has worked at Domaine Dujac in Burgundy. We hate the term ‘Burgundian’ at DITC, but by jeez I can’t find a better word at this point in time… Alluring spice, forest floor aromatics, seamless tannin, and a haunting 4th dimension. We could easily be at a great address on the Cote d’Or. Engaging and sophisticated Pinot Noir worth pondering.
