This is just great pinot noir from a region that it can flourish in. Ecologist-turned-winemaker Mark Matthews is a firm believer in organic farming. Before the word ‘organic’ became a marketer’s best friend, winemakers like Mark were exploring the perks and downfalls of farming without synthetic inputs. 2022 marks his tenth year with organic certification.
The result truly speaks for itself. It’s not going to bowl you over, but it’s going to satisfy you the way good, honest pinot can.
