Millton was New Zealand’s first biodynamically certified vineyard, planted in 1984. Under this label they produce single variety, single vineyard wines of high expression and purity.
In 2021 they picked four times(!) to allow only the best, ripe fruit to enter the cellar. They are then destemmed and fermented raised in demi-muids (large 600-litre oak barrels) and stainless steel. The result is an elegant yet powerful chenin blanc to sit with, watching it unfurl over a couple of hours.
