Frankland Estate is one of the leading producers in the Frankland River region of WA. Family owned and operated since 1988, their major focus is on certified organically grown fruit that reflects its terroir rather than the hand of the winemaker.
While they may be best known for their superb cool-climate riesling, their reds are turning reds, from Syrah through Cabernet Franc. Think aromas of redcurrants, plums, purple lilac florals, savoury, hints of olive, chocolate flecks. Mouthcoating tannins give the wine some lovely length, dense yet soft upfront, medium weighted. We can’t get enough of this wine.
