Place: Eden Valley, SA
Aromatic Riesling from Eden Valley with a twist. Organically farmed, the Riesling was left on skins for 60 days, before being gently pressed off to neutral oak for five months.
The fruit spectrum is exotic, showing quince, ripe grapefruit and ginger spice. A slight oxidative note and tannic grip from the skins make this a very serious wine indeed.
