Massimo Palmieri and his family left Milan for a quieter life in the rolling foothills of Marche. Obsessed with the Qveri-raised wines of Georgia, Massimo only uses Stainless Steel and Georgian Qveri to ferment and age the wines that come from his biodynamically farmed 3.7 Hectare vineyard just outside the town of Jesi. Everything is done by hand from vineyard to cellar and only a negligible amount of sulphur is added at bottling.
This is classic Marche Verdicchio. Fresh, textural, restrained citrus and stone fruit followed by Seaspray. With every sip of this wine we are transported to Le Marche where we imagine enjoying this alongside shellfish linguini. The wine spends 4 days resting on skins before being pressed to stainless steel. Fermentation occurs here as well as aging for 4 months.
