Sean O’Callaghan made his name at arguably the most famous address in the hills of Radda: Riecine. Tenuta di Carleone is now his solo venture where he crafts the most ‘Burgundian’ examples of Chianti that we ever have seen. 

His wines are elegant, freshly-framed and ooze with character and personality. Sean was born blind in one eye and is known lovingly in Radda as ‘Il Guercio’, meaning ‘the one eyed rascal’. Decant this then pour into a big glass, preferably enjoyed over an hour or so.
