Riley Harrison has been making wines in South Australia for a few years now, mostly under the banner of much-loved label Samuel's Gorge. With a background in viticulture but a growing love for winemaking, he's one to keep your eyes on. This is bottled under his own label where he gets to tinker with small batches of fruit from good growers around the state.
Cabernet franc from a vineyard conveniently located quite close to the Victory Hotel. These vines are cooled by the sea breeze & fuelled by the summer sunshine. 10% carbonic maceration and 90% straight up and down. Bright red fruits, fresh cut chilli and the kiss of a man splitting firewood. This is spring luncheon wine if ever it did exist.
