Riley Harrison has been making wines in South Australia for a few years now, mostly under the banner of much-loved label Samuel's Gorge. With a background in viticulture but a growing love for winemaking, he's one to keep your eyes on. This is bottled under his own label where he gets to tinker with small batches of fruit from good growers around the state, with this fruit coming from a biodynamically farmed Yangarra vineyard. It’s all about texture and so works superbly with food. Honeysuckle and pear with chalky tannins creating a chewy textural frame. Have with lobster if you can, otherwise crab or other buttery meats work just as well. Oh, and don’t drink too cold.
