'Podere Sottoilnoce' translates to 'under the walnut tree' and refers to the huge walnut tree that stands imposingly amongst Max Brondolo's oldest vines. He produces wines from indigenous varieties in his winery just outside Modena. His wines are sprightly examples of the varieties—particularly his lively and moreish Lambruscos.
This is tart, light and immensely refreshing Lambrusco. Sour cherry and freshly squeezed blood orange underscored by a slight savouriness that adds intrigue. Another win for the reputation of great Lambrusco!
