A Riesling of immense value and deliciousness from one of Rheinhessen's most heralded producers. 

‘Fritz’ grows in a very small and special part of Rheinhessen called the Roter Hang, meaning red hill because of its red-slate soils. The vineyards are very close to the river Rhine, face south-east and have steep slopes. The combination of those four factors—the red slate soil, proximity to the river, exposure to the sun and steepness of the vineyards—coalesce to create ripe, fresh and spicy Riesling.
