Region: Mornington Peninsula, VIC
Variety: Pinot Noir
Prancing Horse Estate is located in Red Hill South, with the Pinot Noir portion of the vineyard taking top bunk at the highest point of the east facing hill overlooking Western port Bay. The farming here is undertaken with strict biodynamic principles and the winemaking is now handled by Jeremy Magyer at Moorooduc estate. This is a celebration of volcanic red soils that shows the typical Pinot Noir paradox of the ‘iron fist in the velvet glove’.
