2019 was a very exciting for Patrick Sullivan as it marked yet another year of biodynamic farming resulting with very high fruit quality and allowing for a greater level of focus and the winery. The wines from the 2019 harvest are reflection of proving confidence through our vineyard understanding resulting in wines or precision and persistence.
Manilla vineyard at 350m in elevation, has the benefit of being in its very own natural Clos. This provides protection from the elements creating a slightly more humid and stable environment. The resulting wine is one of great power, depth and clarity. A pure, rare and pristine beast – the palate sings long and fast. 12 months in both old and new oak (30% new).
