"Passion, dedication and vision don’t come much more intense than they do with Marco Tinessa. His humble OGNOSTRO project has now grown to be Azienda Agricola Tinessa and is growing a range of wines from the native grapes of Campania such as Fiano and Falanghina to add to his game-changing expression of Aglianico.
This release is with out doubt the finest and most balanced yet, the quality of the fruit and the wine making form this release is outstanding with remarkable energy in both wines.
The 2019 Fiano di Avellino Ognostro is spunky and wild, with ginger-tinged yellow flowers, dried apricots and pears, sour melon and white smoke forming its unique yet truly captivating bouquet. This literally buzzes with energy while remaining fleshy in feel, as nervous acidity and tart citrus tones enliven its mineral-tinged orchard fruits. A twang of raw hazelnut and honeyed inner florals linger incredibly long throughout the spicy, pleasantly sweet and unapologetically juicy finale." — note from the importer, QuelVino
