Jean Baptiste’s vinous pursuits have seen him work in New Zealand, Australia, California, Bordeaux and Burgundy. Now based in the Northern Rhône, his story is one of seeking out small parcels of fruit where he can express balance and elegance. Farming is organic and vinification is simple.
The Marsanne sees oxygen in winemaking but no sulphur during fermentation. This is waxy, textural Marsanne of intrigue and interest, to be pondered not swilled. Jean Baptsite’s path is his very own and it is an extremely exciting one.
