Cantina Giardino (Garden Winery) started in 2003 as a project of six friends, deeply in love with their land and committed to protecting its heritage. Irpinia is a wine region with some of the oldest vineyards in Europe—there are vines over 300 years old in Taurasi.

This is aglianico from a remote eighty year old vineyard, planted almost 500masl. It sees a month of maceration and two years rest in old chestnut casks. Reflecting the vintage, this is a dark, deep and brooding take on the grape that is the perfect accompaniment to hearty protein and brisk nights.
