Bruno Rocca, has now given the reins to the production and care of the estate to his children Louisa and Francesco. They have continued to cultivate the family’s 15ha of vineyards without the use of synthetic fertilizers and herbicides. The Dolcetto grapes are harvested from 40-50 years old vines in the Trifolé vineyard in the commune of Barbaresco. The grapes are fermented in steel tanks to preserve the vibrant aromas and flavours of fresh herbs, incense, dark cherries, plums, damp earth and almonds. The hallmark grippy tannins and crisp acidity join these lovely notes on the palate to create a juicy dry wine that is a match for any springtime evening.
