Being the sophisticated wine lover you are, you probably already know that the Chardonnay grape is named after its birth village of Chardonnay in Mácon in Burgundy’s south. If you didn’t know that then this is a wonderful introduction to Chardonnay from Chardonnay!

Fruit from thirty year old vines is hand harvested then fermented and aged in stainless steel by fourth generation winemakers, Nicolas and Patrick Laugère. At five years old, it’s at once mineral and opulent, glistening with fresh citrus and jasmine, and so very moreish.
