We’re very fortunate to offer Domaine Ponsot’s Griottes-Chambertin Grand Cru and the Chapelle-Chambertin Grand Cru from the commune of Gevrey-Chambertin. The fruit for Ponsot’s Chapelle-Chambertin comes from the Les Gémeaux portion of Chapelle-Chambertin vineyard. While both vineyards are on thin, pebbly soils, the wines are very different.  Just a few moments in the glass offer elegant aromas and flavours of red berries, blood orange, violet, plum and savoury spice woven around a dense core of firm tannins and a tangy acid structure.
