The wines of Meursault have had a reputation for being big, broad and oaky. Antoine Jobard strives to change that reputation. His Meursault-Blagny is taut, complex, refined and graceful. The astonishing mineral intensity is only matched by its finesse and elegance. Jobard employs indigenous yeasts for all fermentations and all of the wines are fermented and aged in barrels (15% new) for close to two years before release. 2014 was a superb vintage for white Burgundy. So this is an extra special treat.
